GIT is a construction company dedicated to providing owners, both public and private, with quality earthwork construction. The company, founded in 1984, has grown to cover about 25 states, working out of four offices. GIT's areas of special expertise include all aspects of landfill construction as well as soil remediation, and landfill and lagoon closures.
GIT has the comprehensive capabilities to construct all components of landfill liner systems as well as the appurtenant structures that are usually found on these projects (such as access roads, drainage systems, gas systems, maintenance buildings, treatment facilities and the like.) Almost all of the work contracted by GIT has been carried out by our own forces, with minimal subcontracting.
