Carswell’s Canada Regulations Index is a monthly consolidated index providing access to all Canadian regulations and statutory instruments currently in force. The specific regulations can be found quickly by locating the particular citation number in the Canada Regulations Index and looking up the full text of the regulation or statutory instrument in the 1978 Consolidated Regulations of Canada and subsequent issues of the Canada Gazette. All amendments made since 1978 are noted in the Canada Regulations Index together with the particular issue of the Canada Gazette in which the full text of the amendment can be found. Internal headings of regulations with the section numbers that correspond to them are clearly indicated and, where regulations have been amended, specific sections amended are indicated, allowing you to immediately determine whether the amendment has any relevance to your specific needs.
Although not available online, the Canada Regulations Index is available through hardcopy subscription from the organization below. The web site referenced below can be used to order a subscription to the Index. Conduct a search on "Regulations Index" and scroll down the results to link on the Canada Regulations Index to obtain an abstract and ordering information.
