Lake County H.E.A.L. is a citizens' group in Lake County, California concerned with protection of the natural environment. Our goals are to stop the use of herbicides, reduce and eventually phase out the use of all pesticides, reduce the entry of all toxic substances into the natural environment at the source of entry and collaborate with other individuals and groups to accomplish these goals. We maintain a library and clipping service, work with regulatory agencies to ensure that environmental laws, ordinances and regulations are being enforced, and sponsor educational programs and direct action projects. |
