The fully permitted EMPAK facility offers a variety of waste disposal technologies for hazardous and nonhazardous waste. EMPAK can handle over 500 substances including toxic and odorous wastes, under federal, state, and local permits. Services include: wastewater treatment, transfer/incineration, chemical oxidation, organic materials recovery, bioremediation, deep well injection, drum disposal, truck and railcar cleaning, and terminaling. EMPAK can accept waste by any delivery means, truck, rail car, pipeline, ship, or barge. An on-site laboratory is used to screen waste for acceptance criteria and treatability. EMPAK has 6,000,000 barrels of waste storage capacity on site. |
