Abstract: | |
The Technology Transfer Network (TTN) is a network of electronic bulletin boards developed and operated by the EPA Office of Air Quality Planning and Standards (OAQPS). The network provides information and technology exchange in different areas of air pollution control, ranging from emission test methods to regulatory air pollution models. The OAQPS TTN was developed to foster technology transfer among all parties interested in the solution of the nation's air pollution problems. This system supports a major part of the Office of Air Quality Planning and Standards information transfer mission to ensure that the public has access to information related to the protection of human health and the environment.
Approximately eighteen bulletin boards are currently available with access to a variety of databases and information sources, including:
- AIRS - Aerometric Information Retrieval Systems Information
- AMTIC - Ambient Monitoring Technology Information
- CHIEF - Emission Inventories/Emission Factors Information
- CATC - Clean Air Technology Center including RACT/BACT/LAER Clearinghouse (RBLC)
- CICA - U.S./Mexico Border Information Center on Air Pollution - Centro de Información Sobre Contaminación de Aire
- EMTIC - Emission Measurement Technical Information
- FACA - (O3/PM/RH) Ozone, PM, and Regional Haze Implementation
