Washington has adopted federal asbestos regulations. The state is NESHAP-delegated by the EPA Region 10.
State/Federal Agencies Involved with the State Asbestos Program
The following agencies/entities have asbestos-related regulatory and enforcement responsibilities in (state):

- AHERA/schools
