Lone Star operates a cement kiln that is permitted to accept waste streams as an alternative fuel source. Waste types that the cement kiln can accept include: organics, halogenated and nonhalogenated solvents, heavy metals, oils, and PCBs (< 50 ppm). The waste streams must be pumpable.
For a waste stream to be accepted at the facility, the waste must be profiled by the generator, analyzed for required parameters, and formally accepted by the facility.
