Chemical Waste Management operates a hazardous and nonhazardous waste landfill and transfer facility that accepts the following waste types: wastewaters, soils, dioxin, PCBs (any concentration), inorganics, heavy metals, solvents, and oils. Many of these waste types are transferred to other facilities for final disposal. The waste treatment technologies available at the site include: encapsulation, and stabilization/solidification. Waste is accepted in bulk and in containers.
The facility is operating under an approved RCRA Part B Permit. The facility is also approved to accept CERCLA wastes.
For a waste stream to be accepted at the facility, the waste must be profiled by the generator, analyzed for required parameters, and formally accepted by the facility.
