The Environmental Assessment Association (EAA) is an international organization dedicated to providing its members with information and education in the Real Estate Industry in respect to Environmental Inspections, Testing, and Hazardous Material Removal. EAA represents over 5,000 Environmental Professionals whom provide services to a wide variety of clients including lenders, federal and state agencies, private companies, and many others.
There is no question that Environmental Inspection is a must for all Real Estate Transactions. Environmental Inspections indicate conditions such as stained soil, storage tanks, vegetation damage, and with simple testing, lead paint, radon, and water problems.
EAA works closely with Environmental Protection Agencies and is on the ASTM E50 Committee.
EAA awards members the "CEI - Certified Environmental Inspector", the "CTS - Certified Testing Specialist", the "CRS - Certified Remediation Specialist", and the "CES - Certified Environmental Specialist" professional designations. |
